Tower Hamlets Council will decide on this development on Thursday 29 August 7pm – have your say now

Developers Family Mosaic want to build a large complex of 188 flats on the site of the old children’s hospital opposite the City Farm on Goldsmiths Row, Hackney Road and Kay Street. The frontage of the Hackney Road building will be retained, the rest of the hospital buildings demolished. The contract was awarded privately by the GLA to provide 180 units of housing on the former NHS public land.

Residents and local business people think the plans are not good enough
and should be
of the highest possible standard to benefit the area into the future. It will have a very big impact. It will go ahead unchanged unless people put pressure on Tower Hamlets to improve the scheme.

If you have any objections at all you must send a message
to Tower Hamlets planners by 27 August

Attend the planning meeting 7pm Thursday 29 August

It is very important that people attend this meeting to show the committee
that there is public concern.
